If you want a really fun game for the kids then you have to try the game Zingo. It is great for very small children too because you don’t need to know how to read and the directions are very simple…it is a matching game but you have to be sure to keep all the pieces together. I remember when there was no such thing as an phone answering service. I remember when there was a time before caller id and even before and answering machine. I remember when my parents got their first answering machine and we all thought it was just so incredibly cool that we could leave and not ever miss a call. Now of course you can forward your phone to your cell phone but back even just 20 years ago an answering machine was very cool to have. I actually still have an answering machine. My grandparents have one of the first ones that came out I swear…and they still don’t know how to use it. Filed under: Electronics Comments: None |

My grandmother has a hard time walking around since she is in her 80′s now. But she still likes to go out once in a while even if it is just to a store or a mall. So having a roll about walker around can really help out quite a bit. And if you don’t have one that is ok because you can rent them now for quite a reasonable price and then if you like it you can eventually go out and get one of your own. My other grandmother is 96 and only in the last 2 years has she had to have help walking around…she is quite amazing actually. Filed under: Uncategorized Comments: None |

So, I just got a calligraphy set to play around with. I have no hobbies so, I figured this would be fun to learn and then I could write up really nice invitations or letters. Not that anyone writes letters anymore. But it is fun to write in a fancy sort of writing.
